Invaders from Around the World
I am two degrees of separation removed from a Rugrat! Here’s a cute little project narrated by Cheryl Chase that I somehow managed to squeeze in a while back in Beijing.
It’s an educational video on biodiversity for the USC Sea Grant, and animator George Zaleski was referred to me by a friend. Because I was in Beijing at the time, we actually never met. That notwithstanding, I had a good time working on Invaders from Around the World even if the turnaround was a little rushed (six minutes of music in one and a half days!). George pointed me in the direction of Leave it to Beaver style music, not quite in my comfort zone, but I think I managed. Particularly fun moments for me were the random classic sci-fi hits and the faux-technology-music.
